Our CEO, Dev Sanyal, joined Michael Liebreich for the “Cleaning Up” podcast to discuss the current energy crisis, energy security and the ways we can help accelerate the energy transition.

As we have entered an age of volatility created by simultaneous shocks (war in Ukraine, inflation, interest rate hikes, covid, and supply chain disruptions), the energy landscape points to the need to diversify by both repurposing the existing and building the new.

At VARO, we believe that scale is important to drive efficiencies, speed, and cost, and that we have the foundations to build materiality in our new businesses. In order to achieve this, we are advocating for the 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. We are in action to repurpose our manufacturing hubs by converting them for clean energy production and we are also committed to re-skilling our people and giving them new opportunities.
